I recently paid out of pocket to be Orton Gillingham trained and asking myself how to scrap up some dough to be CERTIFIED in Orton Gillingham and not just trained. Also trying to figure out if there’s a difference between IMSEs’ training and training from the Orton Gillingham academy itself through Fellows teaching it remotely. I’m very confused and just want to fully understand before I spend more money on it. 😅

My niece was crying doing long division last night but I realized her basic math skills were lacking and that’s why she was having such a hard time. Hopefully this game can get her caught up in a fun low stress way.

You shouldn't make reading fun because that makes no sense. Make kids fall in love with stories and the peace of sitting comfortably anywhere reading a chapter or two without a screen distracting them. I'm an avid reader but I can't if there is a show on. If you are a parent, turn off all screens, grab a book yourself and watch how your kids suddenly start acting the same. ITS CALLED PARENTING.
